Mega Star Chiranjeevi realized his dream of starring in the role of a freedom fighter in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy directed by Surender Reddy. Ram Charan who produced the film in a lavish manner roped in top stars like Big B Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanatara, Tamanna, Kicha Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi for important roles.
The film which was released in various languages across the country, failed to create any impact except for the two Telugu States. Now Sandalwood Star Kiccha Sudeep came with a stunner on Sye Raa failure.
He said, “Sye Raa suffered from the cultural problems. It was a biopic on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who hailed from the South. Also, you can’t fantasize when it’s a biopic. Baahubali was a different ball game as people watched it like a Walt Disney fairy tale movie.”
Interestingly, Sye Raa got record TRP in Tamil.
