Though Megastar Chiranjeevi's Prajarajyam party couldn't come to power in 2009's general elections, the party's vote share proved Megastar's stamina among the people. Having locked horns with two big political parties, PRP could get 27% vote share in Andhra area and 18% overall vote share. Besides, the party won 18 MLA seats then.
Thereby, Megastar got his PRP merged into the Congress party. Afterwards, he made a comeback to Tollywood with an industry hit film Khaidi Number 150. His latest offing Sye Raa Narasimhareddy created non Baahubali 2 records in Telugu states.
Meanwhile, speculations have been rife that Megastar would make his comeback to politics again. Of late, Chiranjeevi is responding on social issues. He expressed his shocker with Disha's assault and murder issue. Further, he lauded AP's Disha act.
According to inside sources, Chiranjeevi would join BJP a year prior to the next general elections. Obviously, Megastar and Power Star Pawan Kalyan would be working together with the grand alliance of BJP and Janasena. Let's see if these speculations are proved right or not.
