Yesteryear actress Raasi during her hay days romanced top stars in Tollywood. Interacting with the scribes, she made shocking revelations and revealed that director Teja cheated her.
Raasi spoke about her character in Super Star Mahesh Babu's Nijam. The film starred Mahesh Babu as Sitaram, Rakshita as Janaki, Gopichand as Devudu and Raasi as Malli.
Raasi rued that during the narration Teja told her the story in one manner and while shooting he changed the script completely.
She said, “I was asked to star in Mahesh Babu's Nijam. Teja told me that I will have good love scenes with Gopichand. He even narrated that a villain will enter between us. I gave a green signal as I felt that the character has a lot of importance.
Teja never told me that the character has negative shades. But on the first day of the shoot itself, I understood about it. I thought of opting out of the project at that time but since I have already taken the advance and fear of drawing flak and getting bad name made me continue with the shoot."
Raasi was offered to play Rangamma character in Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam. But, she refused as she need to wear sarees above her knees. The offer then went to Anasuya.
