Victory Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu's multi-starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Ram Charan's Naayak were released in the Sankranthi season of 2013. Both the films stood as super hits at the box office. However, Mega Power Star made fans proud as he daringly faced two big heroes with his solo heroic venture. Moreover, Naayak got more collections in India than SVSC.
Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu again battled for 2014's Sankranthi season with Yevadu and 1 Nenokkadine. This time, Ram Charan emerged as the clear winner with Yevadu super hit result. 1 Nenokkadine stood as a debacle. Both the heroes had another interesting clash for Dasara season with Govindudu Andarivadele and Aagadu. Govindudu stood average and Aagadu became a disaster then.
"If at all Allu Arjun takes the cue from Ram Charan and scores a blockbuster with Ala Vaikunthapuramulo, he will repeat the sentiment that mega heroes would get victory with Mahesh Babu's films as oppositions.
