Mega Prince Varun Tej’s gangster drama film Valmiki is all set for grand release on 20th of this month. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film which is official remake of Tamil hit Jigarthanda also stars Atahrvaa Murali, Pooja Hegde and Mrinali Ravi in important roles.
Expectations are quite high on Valmiki as Varun Tej’s last film F2- Fun And Frustration was a runaway hit. Moreover, promotional content that showed Varun Tej in never seen before mass avatar was well received among all section of audience.
Valmiki has made a pre release business (only theatrical) of Rs 20 Cr in Telugu states and 25 Cr worldwide. So, the film needs to collect over 25 crores to reach the breakeven mark. Given Varun Tej’s recent form and his market value, it is not a big task.
