Akkineni heroes are known for playboy roles. Akkineni Nageswar Rao immortalised it and his son Nagarjuna too continued in the same vein. Naga Chaitanya and Akhil dreamed of taking it to another level.
However, those dreams came crashing down when Nagarjuna received a huge shock in the form of Manmadhudu 2. Now inside talk is Naga Chaitanya is experiencing scares of Manmadhudu 2.
Buzz is for Soggade Chinni Nayana sequel Bangarraju, Kalyan Krishna designed Chaitu's role as a playboy. However, Chaitu now changed his mind and is refusing to do it.
He made it clear to Kalyan Krishna that he wouldn't do playboy role and asked him to change the role or if not change the story itself. Chaitu rejected stories from directors who planned to show him as a playboy.
What surprised all is Chaitu who showed interest in doing playboy roles despite Akhil getting a shock from similar role in Mr Majnu, however, is now refusing to do it, after his dad Nagarjuna got a shock from Manmadhudu 2.
Another development is Venkatesh who planned to do the remake of Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh's Bollywood hit De De Pyaar De, has now shelved the project.
