Mega Prince Varun Tej starrer Valmiki as we all know is an official remake of Tamil hit Jigarthanda. Director Harish Shankar however adds his touch to the known story to give more engaging experience for Telugu audience and make it appear to be a fresh film.
Valmiki Trailer released just a while ago insights into film's plot. The major change in Valmiki from the original is it is narrated completely from antagonist's perspective and he has a love story with Pooja Hegde during his young age. He simply says like how hitting sixes for Gavaskar, composing tunes for Bappi Lahari, beating people is his passion depicting vigor in his character.
Atharvaa Murali who plays protagonist is not given enough space. Varun Tej's look, body language and diction are remarkable. Harish Shankar's taking, powerful dialogues and enchanting background score are other big assets.
All in all, Valmiki trailer is bang on and it further hikes expectations on the film scheduled for release on 20th of this month.
