Super Star Mahesh Babu casts a magic spell with his handsome looks and charming personality. Many of his fans dream Mahesh make a grand Bollywood entry and show his power there. Mahesh has many fans across North India too.
Many Bollywood filmmakers tried to introduce him in Bollywood but Mahesh Babu humbly refused their offers. During those times, people criticised Mahesh for being risk averse, scared of failures and also pointed out how he shies away from experiments unlike Ram Charan who did Magadheera, Rangasthalam, Allu Arjun who did Gona Gannareddy role in Rudramadevi and Prabhas who did Baahubali.
Some even say Mahesh's project with Rajamouli is not taking off as he is not showing interest in undergoing image transformation. This intensified after it came out that Mahesh rejected Sukumar's storyline in which the director planned to show him as a redsander smuggler and also rejected another story in which Sukumar planned to show him as a crusader against the Razakars under Nizam rule.
But now Mahesh is proven right with his management, business acumen, judgment skills and story selection. He realises the difference between the tastes of south, Tollywood and Bollywood movie lovers and their sensibilities. Only Rajamouli can come with pan Indian stories and others cannot satisfy both of them balancing their acts.
So while Mahesh is happy doing films without taking any risks and burning his hands and denting his image, his contemporaries like Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan and now Prabhas burnt their hands by entering into Bollywood and getting shocks in form of Zanjeer, Sardar Gabbar Singh and Saaho.
