Of late, most of the filmmakers are screening premiers ahead of the actual release to get a positive buzz from all quarters. But people are left wondering whether premiers before the release of high profile projects is a boon or a bane.

Already reports are coming that UV Creations is planning to have premiers ahead of the release on August 29th in few important centers with a special price of minimum Rs 500 per ticket. If this turns a reality then there are positives and negatives attached with it.
The makers can get a revenue of four screen shows with just a single screen premiere. If the premiers are screened in important districts then profits will swell. If that happens then the makers can get around Rs 10crs gross through premiers from districts which normally give Rs 2crs on normal days. In that way, it is a great strategy.
However, the live reviews, film talk and complete analysis will spread like a wildfire. If the talk is positive then the sky is not the limit. However, if it is otherwise then the film will have a tough run.
