According to an interesting update which triggered in discussions is that Nandamuri hero Kalyan Ram would join Sankranthi frey with his ongoing film 'Entha Manchivadavuraa'.
As is known, Prince Mahesh Babu's crazy film Sarileru Neekevvaru and Stylish Star Allu Arjun's highly anticipated film Ala Vaikunthapuramulo are gearing up for release in the Sankranthi season. If at all, 'Entha Manchivadavuraa' gets its release date zeroed to Sankranthi season, chances are high both Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun's films pulverise Kalyam Ram's film.
But then, what makes Kalyan Ram dared to get his film locked horns with two big films? In fact, this is the daring attempt of the director Satish Vegensna. The director's debut film Shatamanam Bhavati was released during Sankranthi 2017. Though two big films Khaidi Number 150 and Gauthamiputra Satakarni were in the race, Shatamanam Bhavati got succeeded in scoring a super hit then.
Perhaps, Shatamanam Bhavati's success was felt sentiment by Satish Vegesna and has ensured his new venture in the combo of Kalyan Ram gets released for next Sankranthi.
However, whether or not the director repeats the magic of SB for Entha Manchivadavuraa will only be known after the film's release.
