Puri, This Is Not The First Time!

Puri creates unnecessary controversy

Dashing director Puri Jagannadh is popular for showing his heroes in arrogant, massy and stylish manner. However with him off color in the recent past, stars stopped entertaining him. Puri with his recent release iSmart Shankar is showing his power at the box office revealing the mass avatar of energetic star Ram.

Delighted with the response iSmart Shankar is getting, Puri made controversial comments against Super Star Mahesh Babu. When few fans asked him when he would team with Mahesh Babu and thrill them with Jana Gana Mana and complete the hat trick as both came with hits like Pokiri and Businessman, Puri shocked all saying he loves Mahesh fans, but will not do film with him as he hurt his ego. He said Mahesh will only do films with successful directors.

But diehard fans of Mahesh turned angry saying Mahesh did films with Puri when his previous films bombed at the box office. Now many are wondering whether differentiating fans and stars will work out for either Puri Jagannadh or anyone in the industry.

Puri earlier too faced the ire of the fans by making fun of their stars. He said Pawan Kalyan will give green signal without even listening to the story, the moment one places two guns in his hand. Fans reacted in a furious manner and attacked Puri for the kind of film Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu with their hero Pawan Kalyan.

Even he faced the wrath of mega fans when he made insulting comments after his planned 150th film with Mega Star Chiranjeevi Auto Jaani did not take off as expected. He announced that the first half came very well and Chiranjeevi did not inform him when he did not like the second half though he was ready to make the changes.

Though Puri may be right in reading the mindset of the top stars but frankly revealing them will land him in unnecessary controversy as neither fans nor stars are going to take them in a sportive manner.
