Super Star Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru directed by Anil Ravipudi is generating tremendous interest among movie lovers. Mahesh is playing the role of Army Major Ajay Krishna and is romancing Sandalwood beauty Rashmika Mandanna.
Even as fans got super excited with the presence of Jagapathi Babu, Vijayashanti and Ramya Krishna in important roles, they got a shock when reports came out that Jagapathi Babu walked out of the project peeved at the marginalization of his character. Rumors spread that Jagapathi Babu requested Anil Ravipudi to increase his duration expressing displeasure but the makers refused, forcing him to walk out of the project.
But inside talk is neither Mahesh nor the makers or for that matter Jagapathi Babu forced or walked out of the project. Mahesh requested Jagapathi Babu to sacrifice for Prakash Raj.
A source reveals, “Few days ago, Prakash Raj requested his good friend and producer Dil Raju to offer him a character in Sarileru Neekevvaru. Word is that he even requested Mahesh Babu about it, calling them several times saying he wanted to do something in this film.
The team had finalized all the artists at the pre-production stage itself, and there was nothing left for Prakash Raj. But as Prakash inserted a lot of pressure on Dil Raju and Mahesh who further requested JB to drop out from the film.”
