Jagan Rechecking Amma Vodi, CPS, IR!

Jagan Rethinking on Amma Vodi, CPS, IR!

Ever since he has taken oath as AP's CM, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy kept on announcing sops to various sections and is sincerely trying to get his election promises 'Nava Ratnalu' implemented. As a result, he won the hearts of most of the people in the initial days of his administration.

Also, YS Jagan appeared to be employees friendly like his father. Maybe unknowingly, three of his decisions connected with employees turned controversial.

The new CM officially announced prestigious 'Amma Vodi' scheme which is intended to give Rs.15000 to every mother, who sends her child to either a private or a government school. This decision has come into a huge shocker to government school staff. It was alleged that all mothers prefer their children to get joined private schools instead of government schools and which lead to the closure/non functioning of government schols. Incidentally, private schools in villages have kick-started publicising their schools showcasing 'Amma Vodi' scheme's benefits. Threatened by these developments, government teachers initiated an agitation seeking the scheme would be confined to only government schools. On the other hand, PDF MLAs conveyed their voice against 'Amma Vodi' scheme in Legislative Council on Tuesday. Having gone through all these adverse developments, the YSRCP government is rechecking its decision to implement 'Amma Vodi' scheme to all schools.

Likewise, employees suspected if the committee appointed by the government for abolition of CPS might throw its report to cold storage. To clear the doubts of CPS employees, CM YS Jagan reiterated in assembly that the government is abided by the abolition of CPS.

And lastly the financial department has recently released a note that read the financial situation of the state is worse and the government had gone for an over draft. As such, the governmnet would cancel April, May and June months' Interim Relief (IR) to employees. But then, within no time, the government understood the annoyance of the employed. Likely, an amendment G.P. on sanctioning IR for the aforesaid months would be released in a few days.

All in all, YS Jagan seems not in a position to lose his goodwill among employees of the state.
