NTR always remain in the hearts of Telugu movie lovers. He not only lived in different genre roles but also respected directors and the producers a lot. NTR used to be extremely professional and be on the sets well ahead of the schedule.
During those days, many in Madras got affected by deadly dengue disease. Film fraternity used to get scared and was under the impression that if a person affected by dengue walks next to them, they would get the disease.
Unlike today there were no medicines for Dengue in those days and fever used to be severe for three days and body pains for the next one month. People affected by dengue used to shiver and stay confined indoors.
NTR too got affected by dengue. During that time his film Dabbuku Lokam Dasoham shooting was on. While NTR was sick, producers were worried about the dates and combinations.
But NTR surprised all by coming to the shooting spot. He used to sit near a corner draped in a shawl. He completed dialogues for his scene without showing any fatigue and later sat in the corner. He used to tell 'evaru naa daggaraki rakandi brother.. aa moolaki fan kooda vaddu'.
NTR remarked 'chinna talanoppi vaste kondaru shooting eggodataru. Daani valla schedule aagipotundi. Nirmataki nashtam. Avanni drushtilo pettukuni doctor lu kadalavaddannaa sare monditanamga shooting vachchanu.'
