At last, Mohan Babu reacted on Telangna students suicides. He released an open letter which turned laughing stock for observers who felt Mohan Babu had been a staunch loyalist of TRS.
Since Mohan Babu agitated against TDP government seeking fee reimbursement to the students of his Sri Vidya Nikethan Institutions, some people thought he had been the social worker and would always fight for students.
Leaving a shocker to everyone, Mohan Babu wrote an open letter after one week of the students deaths in Telangana state. "This reminds us the Telugu idiom 'Dongalu padda...'" says a student.
Mohan Babu kept mum when around 20 students lost their lives. His letter is a mere indication of his support to TRS government. He said the government 'reacted'. But when? After the deaths of 20 students across the state, TRS government announced a little sops to students.
The government hasn't announced ex gratia to the kin of deceased. NGOs and opposition parties are demanding the resignation of educational minister, imposing a ban on Globerina Technologies and suspension on officials who involved in the goof-up.
Mohan Babu needs to protest on these issues. Else, he needn't waste his time posting silly letters.
