It is known that Murugadoss earlier showed Vijay as a thief and as a social activist in super hit film Katti. Mega Star Chiranjeevi remade the same film as Khaidi No 150 and scored a blockbuster on return to the silver screen.
Rajini will be seen romancing Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh in the film for which Anirudh Ravichander is the music director.
