AP voters have gone panic with the data stealing scam which was allegedly indulged in by the ruling TDP. The bank accounts, Aadhar card details, details of properties etc. are now available with a private firm named IT Grids Company. Around 3.5 crores voters data was preserved by IT Grids through Amazon server.
Also, the info of voters choices of political parties was included in the data which is making voters worried to the core. "Based on the data, TDP can remove or add voters from electoral lists," says the observers.
Right away after the data breach news was out, 'Election Commission of India' was thought to be reacting immediately. But then, the EC hasn't reacted on the issues till now. It's high time, the EC took proper action on data theft issue.
