Prince Mahesh Babu's Maharshi was earlier scheduled to release on April 5. Had the film been released on the same date, it could have been the first film to be released in summer season.
However, due to delay in regular shoot, it was inevitable the film's release postponed to April 25. This changed made Mahesh Babu's fans irked on Dil Raju, one of the producers of the film. They thought Dil Raju was the reason why the film got its release put off.
As a result, they made a shower of complaint against Dil Raju to Mahesh Babu and are pressurising the film's team to ensure film release on stipulated date of release, April 5. Observers felt it has been an unnecessary interference of Mahesh Babu in the film making.
