Young Rebel Star Prabhas' next Saaho is generating tremendous interest across the country as it happens to be Prabhas' first after the magnum opus Baahubali. Saaho has high end VFX and graphics and this increased the film's budget and is also delaying the film’s release.
The makers initially thought of announcing the release date after wrapping up production works. However Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar who presented Prabhas' Baahubali advised them to announce the date at the earliest. They in turn announced Aug 15, 2019 as the film’s release date.
Karan Johar told Saaho makers that when they are looking for a simultaneous release in Hindi and other languages, this lethargic attitude is not good. He suggested them that to have a grand release of Hindi version, they should announce the film release now itself so that other filmmakers plan their releases accordingly or else they will face the problems. Generally Hindi films do well on holidays and festive seasons like Eid, X Mas and Diwali, Independence and Republic Day.
So the makers selected Aug 15 as Saaho sensation on screen. KJo gave the following advice to Prabhas when he participated in his show Koffee With Karan.
