While in Tamil Nadu at least Producers Council president Vishal has been trying his best to curb the menace, though he is facing accusations that he is taking steps only for his films, in Tollywood none of them are taking the initiative.
In Tamil Nadu TamilRockers site has been openly daring the makers by uploading HD content of the films within minutes of the release. They now threatened to upload superstar Rajinikanth's most awaited film 2.0 online.
Tollywood witnessed piracy of many films like NTR's Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, Hello Guru Prema Kosame, Taxiwala and many more. The stills and shooting snaps, trailers and teasers are getting leaked on daily basis.
Despite this Tollywood celebrities are unmoved and unaffected. Their silence is leaving all shell-shocked.
