Megastar Chiranjeevi was very active in politics for five years, ever since he had merged his Prajarajyam party into the Congress party. Since the Megastar merged his party without setting any conditions like demanding chief minister post to the Congress party, the Congress high command offered him the tourism minister post.
Chiranjeevi's tenure as an MP of Rajyasabha was ended a few years ago. According to a shocking update, Chiranjeevi's membership's tenure has been ended and the former union minister is learnt to have refused to renew his membership to the Congress party sending clear feelers that he would no more be a Congress's man.
As a matter of fact, every mega fans has been urging Megastar to stay away from the Congress party as Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Janasena has turned out to be one of the major political parties of AP. Moreover, the party aims at power in AP post general elections, 2019.
At this juncture, Chiranjeevi's candidature on behalf of the Congress party would surely create negative impact on Janasena. As such, Chiranjeevi took a wise decision to desert the Congress party.
But then, will Chiranjeevi be active in politics again? If so, which political party will he be joining in future? Having gone through Chiranjeevi's busy schedules for his Sye Raa Narasimhareddy and Koratala Siva's projects, he will not be active in politics. However, he may join Janasena or will support his younger brother's political party externally without joining to it.
