The strategic release of Sailaja Reddy Alludu on the auspicious day of Vinayaka Chavithi has paid off. The film minted good money on the days of release and its opening weekend.
According to trade reports, the movie collected Rs.15 crores at the end of its five days run world wide. As we reported earlier, the film had done a theatrical business of Rs.25 crores.
As such, SRA needs Rs.10 crores more to reach even. But then, the film collected Rs.60 lakhs on the day five of its release which is a bit embarrassing. The long run of the film depends upon the fate of the films which are releasing this weekend.
SRA was directed by Maruthi on Sithara Entertainments. Anu Emmanuel has played Chaitu's romantic interest while Ramya Krishna donned Chaitu's aunt. Gopi Sundar has composed tunes.
