Heirs of top stars are ruling the roost in almost all industries for decades. Mega family is the best example of family power in the film industry. More than a dozen heroes from Mega Star Chiranjeevi family are in the industry and many more are expected to make their entry. Any other family comes next only after Chiranjeevi family in having number of heroes in the industry.
Nandamuri family currently has only Balakrishna and Jr NTR. Kalyan Ram and Tarak Ratna have been trying their best to make their presence felt. Akkineni family has Nagarjuna and his sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil. However they are still unable to achieve the stardom and same is the case with Sumanth.
Daggubati family has only Venkatesh and Rana. Though Venkatesh is having his son, the youngone has lot of time to enter the industry. Rajasekhar's daughters are making their entry and Krishnam Raju has nonly Prabhas.
Ghattamaneni family has Mahesh Babu and it takes more than 10 years for his son Gautam to make his entry. Sudheer Babu is there but is still trying to establish himself. When so many stars are making their heirs to enter the film industry and influencing the filmmakers, how will young and aspiring actors get a chance to show and prove their talent on screen.
More importantly, filmmakers are not daring to make medium to high budget films with other heroes, wherein aspiring actors are restricted for concept oriented small budget films, on which star kids won’t show much interest.
