Bollywood Super Star Salman Khan Love Ratri landed in trouble as VHP issued warning that they will not allow the film’s release. VHP alleged that the film’s title Love Ratri, resembling Nav Ratri hurts the sentiments of Hindus across the country. VHP International Working President, Alok Kumar said the film which is set in the backdrop of Navratri, hurts the sentiments of Hindus by distorting its meaning.
Salman Khan is launching his brother in law Aayush Sharma in his home productions Salman Khan films and the movie is helmed by Abhiraj Minawala who earlier worked as assistant director for Salman Khan’s Sultan and Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan. Warina is making her debut as heroine in the film. Aayush married Salman’s sister Arpita few years back.
The filmmakers are yet to respond to the allegations of the VHP. It has to be seen how the makers pacify the hurt sentiments of the Hindus.
