Fans of Power Star Pawan Kalyan boast that they are unlike other heroes fans and say that they belong to Pawanism, a kind of religion, taking their hero worship to new level. They proudly claim that they set example for others to emulate them with their behavior.
However going by their behavior, Pawanism is derailing completely from the high moral ground. It is known that Pawan Kalyan organized a press meet and decided to expose the media which targeted him using actress Sri Reddy.
Pawan accused that the ruling TDP in AP including Nara Lokesh, son of AP CM Chandra Babu, along with the pro media like NTV and ABN Andhra Jyothi, connived to malign his character. He branded them as more dangerous and equated them to rapists.
Pawan’s accusations enraged his fans who started attacking scribes and the vehicles belonging to ABN Andhrajyothy. The accused media questioned Pawan Kalyan for instigating violence without any proofs even as Pawan Kalyan’s fans association heads claimed innocence.
Nonetheless, analysts say this is not the first time Pawan Kalyan fans behaved in such manner. Even earlier they insulted top stars and filmmakers by interrupting their speeches at various film functions forcing them to chant their hero’s name.
The other day Pawan Kalyan fans chased actress Sri Reddy scaring everyone. People are asking what example they are setting for others to follow.
