Since morning today a fake picture of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan from Thugs Of Hindostan has been circulated virally in social media. Few media houses reported it as first look of Big B from the film.
Curiously, few film personalities were also confused about the picture as Amitabh Bchchan from Aamir Khan co-starrer film. One amongst them is maverick director Puri Jagannadh. He posted the picture saying, Amitabh Bachchan from Thugs Of Hindostan. Later Puri deleted the post and published another tweet, “He’s a AB look alike in Afghanistan”.
In fact, the man in the ‘leaked’ pic bears striking resemblance to Big B. An Instagram user Steve McCurry had shared the picture in January. His post read: “I made this portrait of Shabuz, age 68, an Afghan refugee in Pakistan. Many Afghans use only one name (sic).”
Billed to be period action-adventure, Thugs Of Hindostan is slated to hit theatres for Diwali.
In the meantime, Amitabh clarified media that, he is doing fine now.
