Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna has responded on Nandi awards controversy. As we know, Nandi awards announced by the jury received negative response from all corners. Huge protests were made by industry's celebs in a never seen manner.
As Balayya being the chairman of Nandi awards committee and being a close relative of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, he is heard to have influenced Nandi award committee members to get his Legend film winning awards in nine categories which includes best actor award for Balakrishna. Besides, he is gossiped to have let some caste based factors involved in Nandi awards.
In the meanwhile, Balakrishna donated blood in NTR charitable trust today. Speaking to the journos Balakrishna said he was happy with the film being conferred awards in nine categories. Balayya claimed it a team victory.
When Balakrishna was asked about ongoing ruckus against the Nandi awards, he said the title 'Legend' also turned controversial then but proved to be a super hit later.
Balakrishna is currently busy with the shoot of his new film Jai Simha being helmed by KS Ravi Kumar. The movie is hitting screens in Sankranthi season.
