Having been made with a shoestring budget, Mega Prince Varun Tej's Fidaa collected Rs.40 crores share world wide and stood as the double blockbuster at the box office. While, achieving this feat, Fidaa breached the highest shares of second level heroes.
Not that all! Fidaa has particularly recorded stunning numbers in some areas which even couldn't achieve by star heroes. For an instance, Fidaa crossed Rs.1 crore gross in RTC X Roads. Interestingly, Young Tiger NTR's highest grossing film Janatha Garage could collect Rs.89 lakhs in the center and NTR had no other film which had one crore gross at RTC X Roads.
Similarly, Fidaa is buzzed to have surpassed JG's overall original share in Telangana area.
Now that, the news of Fidaa one crore gross at RTC X Roads is spread like a wildfire an interesting debate was started in SM. While other fans are claiming that Fidaa should be treated as a content rich movie and hero wouldn't get credit to it, mega fans are arguing that unless there is a mega hero like Varun Tej in the film, it couldn't even collect Rs.25 crores.
Whatsoever, Fidaa sets a right platform for Varun Tej to become a big star in near future.
