Sekhar Kammula is known for gentle handling of youthful romantic subjects in authentic Telangana backdrop. After a hiatus, he is back in the game with Fidaa starring Varun Tej, Sai Pallavi in main leads under Dil Raju production.
Till date, Fidaa succeeded to make a mark of its own in trade circles because all the promotional stuff rolled out had Kammula stamp on them. In fact, Varun and Sai looked refreshingly smooth involved into the characters.
While Fidaa release date is scheduled for July 21st and teams at Dil Raju camp are sketching the publicity campaigns, we heard some shocking news on Dil Raju suggested re-shoots of a few crucial scenes which he felt are not striking and impressive.
Though Kammula opined of these re-shoots as unnecessary, finally he is bowed to follow the commands from producer. Along with Varun and Sai, few more artists are taking part in this re-shoot program as Kammula is given a deadline to get the first copy ready by this weekend.
