Resounding successs of 'Baahubali' on Indian silver screen made it a national movie. Director Rajamouli was praised as a national level director. As we know, the makers claimed the film minted Rs.600 crores which stunned audience. Whatsoever, Rajamouli is truly deserved for those praises.
Having gone through the speeches of the invitees and film's cast and crew at 'Baahubali 2's pre release event,most of the speakers were seen comparing Rajamouli with the status and range of Steven Spielberg and James Cameron while some more people felt that those directors should learn from SSR.
This appears weird to hear for many movie lovers while Rajamouli's fans were rejoiced with the extreme flattery of guests. But then, did Rajamouli really enjoy that flattery? Now that the confidence of the director knows no bounds, he might have surely enjoyed those appreciations. Of course, well wishers of SSR are of opinion that the director has that caliber to achieve the status of Hollywood top directors.
In the meanwhile, everyone is hoping that the film would collect Rs.1000 crores. TV channels, on the other hand, are speculating that Rajamouli would make Mahabharat in English and would join the league of Spielberg and others. It remains to be seen whether these speculations are intended for 'Baahubali 2's promotions or will the director really helm the project.
Much anticipated 'Baahubali 2' is gearing up for release on April 28.
