The Janasena chief and Power Star Pawan Kalyan has sent a press note conveying his wishes to women on the eve of International Women's Day. The Janasena's head opined women were worshiped in ancient times but are now being ill-treated.
"Women needn't be offered puja like those times. They just need equality of rights. As Bapu said, the day woman can walk freely on the roads at night, that day we can say that India achieved real Independence. And we should prove the Mahatma's words to come into reality.Let's provide them equality of rights. Let the women bill see light with parliament's approval. Let feticides be stopped. And lastly, on behalf of Janasena, my brotherly wishes to all the women in India and abroad," says Pawan Kalyan.
Janasena, of late, has taken up many issues related farmers and handweavers. He pressurized the Government to get their problems solved. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan will be busy in active politics from next year onwards.
