Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' is one of the highly awaited films of Tollywood. The movie is being made as a full-fledged historical entertainer. It was earlier reported that the film's shoot had been progressing on the historical forts of Madhya Pradesh.
It is learnt that the first song is being filmed now in Madhya Pradesh's forts. This is also said to be an intro song of Balakrishna wherein 'Satakarni's glory is praised by the people. Somehow, this song reminds 'Jagadananda Taraka' song of 'Sri Ramarajyam' film. Swarna Madam is said to have been composing the dance choreography of this historical song.
Veteran Bolllywood's top heroine Hema Malini plays Balakrishna's mother role in this film while Shriya Sharan will be seen as princess. Chirantan Bhatt is composing the music of the movie. The movie is being directed by Krish on his own banner First Frame Entertainment. Rajiv Reddy is co-producer.
