Bollywood's buxom beauty Parineeti Chopra was initially contemplated to groove in for Prince Mahesh's new film. However, the actress turned down the offer in spite of a whopping remuneration of Rs.2.5 crores being offered to her.
An interesting aired story making rounds is that the production team of Mahesh and Murugadoss' film had approached Sridevi's daughter Janvi a couple days ago to rope her in as the female lead of the film. But then, Janvi rejected the offer as she was looking forward for a huge opportunity in Bollywood. Janvi is currently undergoing acting course training at Lee strasberg Film Institute of US.
Eventually, the makers of Mahesh and ARM's film confirmed Rakul Preet Singh as the lady lead of their film. As we know, the movie's regular shoot kick started today and Mahesh will join the shoot in two days. The movie's release date was locked to summer, 2017.
