Colors Swathi’s new film ‘Tripura’ isn’t seeing any positive limelight. Directed by Raj Kiran of ‘Geethanjali’ fame, the project was launched amidst good hype with blessings of Kona Venkat. What went wrong with this horror thriller is unknown but we are hearing strange news on none of the buyers are showing enough of interest in picking area wise distribution rights for ‘Tripura.’
Raj Kiran used all his leverage in Tollywood by screening couple of special shows for prospective buyers including Dil Raju. Although actual response for the movie is still to come out but business for none of the areas in TS and AP is still locked says the inner story. On the other side, few of the trade sources commented on hard-nosed attitude of Raj Kiran quoting high prices for all the territories is delaying the release.
Colors Swathi is a sale-able face in major areas and Raj Kiran, Geethanjali brand can help them further. But what could be the business scale Raj Kiran is expecting for ‘Tripura’ which is making the film to suffer.
