Megastar Chiranjeevi recorded his first industry hit with 'Khaidhi' in the year, 1983. From then on he delivered a total of 8 industry hits and which is the highest number for any hero of 83 years of the history of Tollywood. 'Pasivadi Pranam', 'Yamudiki Mogudu', 'Athaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu', 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari', 'Gang Leader', 'Gharana Mogudu' and 'Indra' are the other industry hits of Chiranjeevi. Power Star Pawan gave two industry hits and they are 'Khushi' and 'Atharintiki Daredi'. Mega Power Star Ram Charan scored an industry hit with 'Magadheera'. A total of 11 industry hits have been scored by mega heroes since 1983.
Among the non mega heroes Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna gave three industry hits and they are 'Muddula Mavayya', 'Samarasimhareddy' and 'Narasimhanaidu'. Victory Venkatesh with 'Chanti', Mohan Babu with 'Pedarayudu' and Prince Mahesh with 'Pokiri' have scored an industry hit each. A total of six industry hits have been delivered by the non mega heroes since 1983.
And now, SS Rajamouli's prestigious epic drama 'Baahubali' is gearing up for release on July 10. Analysts are of the opinion that 'Baahubali' has bright chances to become the 7th industry hit of non mega heroes after 1983. However, it all depends upon how the people own the movie.
