The last rites of Padma Vibhushan Dr.Akkineni Nageswara Rao were completed on the evening of Thursday, 23rd of January at Annapurna Studios with the state honours. With all the Hindu religious traditions and amidst myriad fans, his last rites were performed.
Meanwhile, the funeral procession started from Film Chamber at 1pm and passed through Jubilee Hills and finally reached to Annapurna Studios. Many actors attended the procession and cremation process. Meanwhile, entire tollywood observed bandh today, to mark their honour on the legendary actor.
