The PRP's merger into the Congress Party has not gone well with the mega fans. Yet again, some of the mega fans sensed that behind every move of Chiranjeevi, there would be a clear vision. Many a times, Chiranjeevi reiterated that he extended an unconditional support the Congress Party, but none could believe his words. They thought that Chiranjeevi would take the responsibilities of a key post in the state and would implement his dreams of social justice and other plans for the welfare of the poor and the needy. But then, their wish has not been fulfilled.
With the state's bifurcation process going on in a brisk pace, there have been intense speculations that a minister from Guntur district would occupy the key post in the state. Mega fans are said to have been disappointed with this news. They felt that the names, which are being heard for the key post, are no way on par with the charisma,Mr. clean image,social service and other good qualities of Chiranjeevi. "Even if that person occupy the key post, the merger of Chiranjeevi into the Congress Party may not be justified," says an observer.
