Padma Vibhushan, Dada Saheb Falke Award winner, Dr.Akkineni Nageswara Rao, has completed 75 years successfully as an actor. On account of this rare feat, he was felicitated by T.Subbarami Reddy Kalapeetham, at Shilpakala Vedika of Hyderabad. Many eminent personalities attended this function.
Mohan Babu astonished the invitees and the audience with his strange and arrogant speech. He said, " ANR's wife late Annapurnnamma garu flattered me that I was the next best actor after NTR, in terms of uttering the dialogues. It means, I am the best actor than ANR garu."
Later, ANR in his speech, attacked Mohanbabu with severe criticisms on him. He said, " If anybody feels he is better actor than me, I let him feel like that. It is a kind of illusion. If we reach to good positions, many people feel jealous about us. However, we should always be optimistic in achieving our goals." Having given this wonderful counter at Mohanbabu, ANR received wonderful positive response from the audiences.
