Tollywood far ahead in making Hindu Epics

Hindu Epics - None can match T-wood

Of late, many filmmakers are trying to cash in by making films on Hindu epics and including elements from Ramayana and Mahabharata in their films. They are under the impression that use of latest technology, high end graphics and AI will leave all stunned.

Sometime back Bollywood filmmaker  Om Raut came up with Adipurush and it turned out to be at troll material. The huge budget spent for the film went for nothing. Now Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari, one fears is going that way.

Many are under the impression that the makers in their quest for high end technology is failing to include the soul of the story. This shows that Tollywood filmmakers longtime back without the use of any such technology captivated all with their mythological entertainers.

One can say with pride that none from Kollywood, Mollywood, Bollywood and Sandalwood can come no where near Tollywood in making films on Hindu epics. None can forget the evergreen classics Sampoorna Ramayanam, Lava Kusa, Sree Ramanjaneya Yuddham to name a few on Ramayana and Nartanasala, Pandava Vanavasam, Maya Bazar, Sri Krishnarjuna Yuddham, Dana Veera Soora Karna and others.

Even when mythological films disappeared, Tollywood filmmakers came up with films like Bala Bharatam and Sri Rama Rajyam. Even in the latest film Hanu-Man, goosebumps were raised with the portrayal of Lord Hanuman and in Kalki 2898AD, the role of Karna. In Jai Hanuman, Lord Hanuman role is getting elevated.
