How Rajamouli shot thrilling sequence in Varanasi. Rajamouli's Varanasi is the cynosure of all eyes. The film stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in important roles.

In the meantime, it is coming out how Rajamouli shot a 25 minutes motion capture sequence. CV Rao, CTO of Annapurna Studios, speaking to scribes shared “The sequence in the film will be almost 25 minutes long. I can’t tell you much, but it’s a thrilling scene. Since we have released the BTS of Varanasi, you now know that it was captured on a motion-capture stage. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been able to figure it out,”

Producer Sobhu Yarlagadda added , “We were working to the Varanasi team’s timelines. Ultimately, everything came through in the end. The biggest thing was that Rajamouli was happy with it.”

The sequence shot for Varanasi is expected to run close to 25 minutes. With international performers and crew working to fixed schedules, the timeline for installation, testing and training was tight.The facility was designed to meet specific demands. Standard motion-capture stages typically offer around 20 feet in height, but Rajamouli required a 36-foot capture volume to stage elevated action.
