Ram Charan Peddi Release Pushed Further

Is Peddi Moved Back

Ram Charan's highly anticipated sports action drama, Peddi, has had its release date pushed back from March 27 to April 30, 2026. The team shared a statement hinting at needing more time to wrap things up, saying, "The date of his arrival changes, but not his MIGHTY GRIT".

The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, boasts a star-studded cast, including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani, and Satya. Filming has been underway in Hyderabad, with the Delhi schedule already wrapped up as of February 26, 2026.

Peddi is being produced on a grand scale by Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment, with music by A.R. Rahman and visuals from R Rathnavelu. Netflix has acquired the post theater streaming rights, ensuring the film will be available online after its big screen run.

Despite the delay, Peddi remains one of the most-awaited pan India projects, with the makers planning to drop the second song on March 2. The film is set in rural Andhra Pradesh in the 1980s and features an ensemble cast. There's even speculation that the release might be pushed further to June, although no official confirmation has been made.
