Manoj Bajpayee, known for his versatile performances his set to star in the iconic role of Mahatma Gandhi. Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra confirmed the same about it and inside talk is the film will go to sets from September.
Talking about the biographical film, Mishra posted “That’s roughly the plan. Hope it all works out.”It is a challenge for Manoj Bajpayee as he played the roles that demanded varaitions accordingly. The project is set to roll in Kolkota.
Sources reveal that the film is not just a biopic but it will explore the key chapters of Gandhi’s life. The makers decided Kolkota as it has historical and cultural relevance.
The pre production is currently underway. Manoj Bajpayee was last seen in Family Man Seaon 3 and is now starring in Ram Gopal Varma's thriller Police Station Mein Bhoot.
