Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bhansali Productions according to sources is planning to come up with the sequel. The source said, "Bhansali Productions is actively working on several major projects, including 'Rowdy Rathore 2'. It's one of the studio's biggest franchises with a strong pan-India fan base."
The source shared "Given the film's wide popularity, the makers are looking to cast a major pan-Indian star," It is known that Rowdy Rathore 2 starred Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead and it is the remake of Rajamouli and Ravi Teja's Vikramarkudu.
Now speculation is on as to who will be the part of Rowdy Rathore Returns. Earlier reports came that Lakshay has replaced Akshay Kumar in Rowdy Rathore.
