SSMB29 is the most awaited project across the world. The film stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in important roles.
The film's globetrotter glimpse will be unveiled tomorrow on 15 November at RFC, Hyderabad at a grand function. In the meantime, Rajamouli today released the first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran. While fans are appreciating it, Netizens started trolling saying the look is copied from various Hollywood films.
Prithviraj is set to play a character called Kumbha, the antagonist of the big-budget movie. The actor is seen in a menacing avatar, dressed in all-black and seated on an automated wheel chair. Fans on social media compared the look with the dangerous Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man 2.
Many users said the look reminded them of Suriya’s Athreya from 24 and Vivek Oberoi’s villain in Krrish 3.
Some netizens mocked the design, saying it looked “AI-generated.” Others questioned how a filmmaker like Rajamouli could approve such a poster. A few users even pointed out how Rajamouli often uses characters with physical limitations, calling it a “disability fetish.”
