Yash To Take 20 Percent Profits From His Production Ramayana

Profit Sharing For Yash In Ramayana

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is one of the most talked about and awaited films. The cast and scale of the film has made audience buzzing with anticipation towards the film. In the movie, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen essaying the role of Lord Ram. While it has not been officially announced as of now, netizens are sure that KGF star Yash has been roped in to play Ravana in the movie.

However, as per Bollywood media reports, Yash is likely to get between 20 to 30 per cent of Ramayana’s profit. For the unversed, Yash is producing the film along with Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari. In April this year, the actor opened up about co-producing Ramayana but did not mention anything about his role in the film.

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Ramayana is being made on a whopping budget of Rs 835 crores. Ramayana is being made as a trilogy and this Rs 835 Crore budget is only for 'Ramayan : Part 1'. Makers plans to expand this further as the franchise grows. The idea is to take the audience on a visual treat with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram.
