Chief Minister K Rosaiah will meet leaders of all recognized political parties in the State at the Secretariat on Friday. The heads of all major political parties are expected to express their views on Babli project before the the Chief Minister.
An all-party delegation will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi next week.
Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu who recently made a futile bid to visit the Babli project site in Maharashtra urged the CM to convene an all-party meeting to discuss the issue
Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi also favoured an all-party meeting on the controversial Babli barrage issue.
