Congress MLC Y S Vivekananda Reddy on Monday urged the Congress bosses to review its decision on disallowing Odarpu yatra launched by Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in Telangana districts.
Reddy told media persons that vested interests were politicizing the Odarpu yatra and creating law and order problems by pelting stones, which led to police firing at Mehbubabad.
The High Command should set up a committee to get a first hand information, he pointed out.
He urged the High Command to collect Intelligence reports on the violence at Mahabubabad station. It may contemplate action on the basisi of the report and accord permission for the second leg of the Odarpu yatra.
