There is no change in the stand of party against blocking the Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s Odaarpu yatra in the Telangana region, stated Telugu Desam Party leader from the Telangana region Errabelli Dayakar Rao.
Responding to the Telugu Desam politburo member and MP Nandamuri Harikrishna’s letter asking him not to block the Odarpu yatra in the Telangana region, Errabelli said he would give a fitting reply to his letter soon.
Talking to reporters on Monday, he said there is no change in the decision of the party to block Jagan and Praja Rajyam president K Chiranjeevi tours in the Telangana region as they extended support for the integrated Andhra Pradesh agitation.
Errabelli said he would explain to Harikrishna why he is planning to block Jaganmohan Reddy’s Odarpu yatra in Telangana region.
Recalling the former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s statement that Warangal district dried up due to shortage of rains, Errabelli said “If Jagan tours in the district, it would face worst ever situation and the Telangana people won’t allow him to travel in districts for his anti-Telangana stand.”
Condemning the statements of Errabelli Dayakara Rao, TDP MLC Nannapaneni Rajakumari said `` the Constitution has given freedom to travel anywhere and no one can stop anybody.''
