The soggy image of Telugu Desam party after the Telangana movement has forced its president N Chandrababu Naidu to revive its image before the hustings. For this the former chief minister has been using the photograph of its founder NT Rama Rao, alleged senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao.
Rao told reporters on Tuesday that Naidu has taken recourse to cheap gimmicks to rejuvenate the party which received a drubbing in the Assembly elections. “It will be a litmus test for Naidu in the next by-elections as the party image has been adversely affected. That is why Naidu plans to display NTR’s photos at campaigns and rallies to revamp the party's soggy image,” he pointed out.
