Rajya Sabha member and TD leader TG Venkatesh accused BJP of trying to deviate the issue of special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Venkatesh said that the BJP was seeing that the Bill on SCS for AP does not come for discussion. On Tuesday, the Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha did not permit discussion and voting on the Private members bill on Special Status for AP saying that the Bill would come only on Friday.
Venkatesh also found fault with Congress saying that the party was responsible for all the fiasco that AP was facing today.
